Schedule 1. Annex: Privacy Policy Amendment for Citizenship by Decent Services

Learn Hungarian Anywhere (“Company,” “we,” “us”) is committed to protecting your privacy. This Policy describes what data we collect, why we collect it, how we store it, and the choices you have.

Except as modified in this Schedule, the main Privacy Policy remains in full force.

1. Who We Are

For all ancestry certificates, baptismal records, and other lineage documents containing special-category data, the Client remains the data Controller. Learn Hungarian Anywhere (“Company”) does not take custody of, store, or determine the purposes of processing these original documents. Where the Client instructs an independent genealogist or archive courier to retrieve or translate records, that third party acts as the Client’s Processor under GDPR Art. 28. The Company’s role is limited to administrative coordination and therefore falls outside the definition of ‘processing’ for special-category data. Any copies temporarily seen for quality-control are viewed in transit only, are not retained, and are permanently deleted upon task completion.

We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 16 without parental consent.

Language Coaching & Scheduling – book lessons, track progress.

Consulate Booking & Case Management – prepare application files.

Payments & Accounting – process fees, comply with tax law.

Communications – onboarding emails, lesson reminders, legal updates.

Analytics & Security – monitor site performance, detect fraud.

We never sell or rent your data. If you voluntarily provide a testimonial, photo or video, you grant Company a perpetual, worldwide licence to use, edit and display it for marketing without additional compensation.

4. Storage & Security

Annual penetration test + quarterly permission review; subcontractors sign NDA & vendor-security questionnaire.

5. Sharing With Third Parties

No third-party may use your data for their own marketing.

6. International Transfers

We operate in the United States and share documents with Hungary. Transfers are protected by:

Standard Contractual Clauses (SCC) 2021/914/EU

Hungarian government’s statutory requirement to receive originals/certified copies

7. Retention

Deletion = secure erase + backup purge.

8. Your Rights

Email information@learnhungarianywhere.com with your request. We respond within 30 days (GDPR) / 45 days (CCPA). Verification of identity required.

9. Cookies & Tracking

Essential cookies – login/session (first-party).

Analytics cookies – Google Analytics anonymous IP (consent banner).

No ad-tracking or retargeting cookies.

You can disable cookies via browser settings; the site may lose functionality.

10. Children’s Privacy (COPPA)

Services are not directed to children under 16. If we learn we collected such data without parental consent, we delete it immediately.
